1. We will be grooming a limited number of pets per day by appointment only. so we can thoroughly clean and disinfect the shop between customers and avoid cross over of multiple clients entering and leaving at the same time. Customers with multiple pets may still drop off all pets at one stop and no other clients will be booked during each 2 hour window (We will try our best to complete your pet within a reasonable time frame, however, due to increased volume of calls, additional protocols for safety and cleanliness and continued care and safety, we can not give exact time, every dog is an individual and every situation is unique, please be assures we will always do our best to have every dog done in a reasonable time frame and your continued patience is appreciated.
2. Clients who do not wish to enter the building, can remain in their vehicles or in the covered patio area adjacent to the entrance and call or text upon arrival or use the Ring doorbell and I will come out and get the dog from you. I will also bring your pet out to you when you come back, credit card payments can be processed remotely and I will not be requiring a signature, additional payment methods include cash, personal check or VENMO.
Clients who chose to enter the building are encouraged to wear masks. I find that many dogs do not feel comfortable or are threatened by the mask and gloves, since dogs DO NOT carry and cannot transmit COVID 19, I feel comfortable not wearing such protective gear while performing the grooming services, but I will when interacting with pet owners.
3. I will be washing the salon floor between every client, I will disinfect, the cages and table between each client and I will be disinfecting the grooming equipment between each client. We have always maintained a clean and healthy environment, but are taking this practice up a notch. Please respect our attempts by cleaning up after your pets, staying home if you or any member of your family are not feeling well and not spending any more time than necessary when dropping off and picking up your pets. Until this pandemic is over, our rest room is no longer available for public use.
4. This has been a trying year. But I am confident that the end of this pandemic is in sight. I look forward to the day we can return to "normal" operation. Until then, lets all do our part to keep our community healthy.
